Three lectures confirmed so far for the 2019-2020 lecture programme:

Thursday 19 September 2019, at Huddersfield Golf Club, 7.30pm.

Our speaker is Mr Ziad Estephan, consultant ophthalmic surgeon, who will be speaking on Retinal Vein Occlusion.  The lecture has been approved for 1 CET point for Optoms and DOs.  Mr Estephan is an accomplished speaker and his presentation will include videos of intravitreal injections.

Thursday 24 October 2019, at Huddersfield Golf Club, 7.30pm.

Prof J Siderov will speak on "What should I do with these kids? - Managing paediatric binocular vision problems in primary practice."  1 CET point.  Prof Siderov will also talk to us about the Optometry course at Huddersfield University.

Wednesday 22 April, at Huddersfield Golf Club, 7.30pm.

"An Overnight Success and Beyond" - Lecture with Discussion Workshop covering management of myopia progression using orthokeratology and other contact lens options. 2 CET points.
Josie Barlow, Professional Services Manager, Menicon

These are the first meetings of the new season, so subscriptions are due for payment.  There will be 6 lectures in this season and we will aim for you to be able to get all the CET points you need for this year.  The subscription fee is unchanged at £50, which you can pay by credit card at the meeting, or by cheque or BACS in advance (contact Treasurer, Anna, for details).  The cost for attendance at a single meeting is £20.

We will be starting a YOS WhatsApp group for members so that we can keep in touch easily.  Please let me have your mobile number so that I can add you to the group.

Best wishes,

Rena
